Pen & Quill is a calligraphy and lettering studio in Livermore, California, led by partner Antonio Montano. Nestled in the Tri-Valley, the studio serves couples, families, and institutions across the East Bay and beyond with handcrafted lettering for the moments that matter most.
Antonio's practice grew from a lifelong fascination with historical scripts and the tools that shaped them - quills, nibs, iron gall ink, and the patient hands that guided them. That reverence for tradition anchors everything the studio produces, even as its work embraces modern aesthetics.
